Request: Allow upload of files with more than one dot in the name

Currently, users get an error about that it can't find the extension since the filename has more than one dot.
This seems like a weird restriction, since filenames with multiple dots are perfectly valid filenames, and our users often get confused by this when trying to upload such documents.
